WELCOME to Wellspring Farm in western North Carolina.  Wellspring Farm raises llamas, Jacob Sheep, Merino, Tunis and  Tunis/corriedale  sheep for their fiber.  Products produced on the farm include rovings,  yarns and  felted, knit and crocheted  fiber items and breeding stock.  We offer farm tours, workshops, and lessons in spinning and fiber arts.

We are holding our annual open farm/shearing day.  We invite you to come and watch the sheep flock being shorn.  Learn about wool sheep, the process of growing wool to making useful wool products and visit with the farms llamas.  We will also have our friend Lori showing her angora rabbits and demonstratring handspinning.  "Farm grown" yarn and spinning fibers will be on sale, along with other hand made products.  The event is held rain or shine as it takes place in the barn and covered deck.

Poop, poop, poop!

Many people have asked, yes, we have llama poop available, and also sheep waste (hay,straw and poop).  Great for gardens and mulching. It's free if you bring your own shovel and bags or containers.  We do sell pre-bagged llama poop for 6.00 a bag. Please email for an appointment or further inormation.
